2nd Christmas Concert

Yesterday, I got confused about our call time. Someone sent me and SMS saying that someone told her that the call time is at 3PM. I was already on my way to school at that time. It was 1:15PM. I really did hear them say that it was at 1PM. I called another friend and he just got up because of my call. He told me that the call time was at 3PM. I went back home and dropped my bag and my costume and was once again on my way back to school to hang out with someone.

I was at school when I received a text saying that the meeting place was at Coffee Indulgence at P.Noval St. I walked myself there and found her with some of her friends ordering at the counter. I sat beside her after ordering something for myself.

We walked around to kill some time. Went to the museum. I was with them until 3:30PM. I went home to pick my stuff up after that.

I was at some classroom inside the chapel with the other student's from chorus class at around 4PM. It was boring. Only 1 friend, Jaenna, was there... and she was busy fixing her make up. I just sat there until I received a text from her. She left her umbrella at Coffee Indulgence and was asking me if it was okay for me to go pick it up and deliver it to her classroom. I had nothing to do so I did her a favor.

I got back and gave myself some time to rest before I go and get my makeup fixed. I waited there for a long time for my turn. The fix only lasted a few minutes. When I got back inside the classroom, there was no dinner left for me.

6PM, Kelly was already there. I sat with him while waiting. We were talking about things. We were also waiting for Popoy.

The concert was already starting when Popoy came. I think it was around 7:30PM. I decided to go back to the room. It wasn't really that boring. I had some people to talk to during those supposed-to-be boring times. It was already around 8:30PM when we were told to go on standby.

Went backstage and watched while my Professor was performing. It was my 2nd time watching him but I was still as amazed as the 1st. After watching him, it was time for us to enter.

The positioning was changed. I didn't know because I missed the rehearsal. They also added 2 songs: Silent Night and Joy To The World. I DID not know the lyrics of those songs. I did some lipsings. Luckily, I wasn't on the part of the stage where I could be easily seen like last time.

After the performance, I met up with my friends in front of the Main Building and we ate together at McDonald's.

It was already 10:30PM when we decided to go home. They walked with me to Dapitan St. It was already late and they didn't want me to walk there alone. After dropping me off, the 2 of them went home.

I think they enjoyed the concert...and that's a good thing, isn't it? I did, too.

Tonight's Concert

I was part of this night's Christmas Concert which was held at the UST Chapel, 7PM.

Our call time was 1PM. I got there just a few minutes after. I did nothing much there but talk with a few people and get bored most of the time.

4PM, I had my make up put on. It was needed. It made my face so itchy, though. The gay stylist also ruined my hair. Quite annoying.

6PM, I put my barong on and waited there for quite a while....

7PM, she sent me text saying that she'd go there to see me but won't be going inside to watch the concert... She, the person I've failed to mention in this blog during my past entry.

I waited outside the chapel. Her friend, Dada, went to me and accompanied me to her. I saw her sitting under the pavillion with another friend of hers.

Not really speaking much. Shy as usual...especially with people around. Still she did something that made me feel better. She supported me.

I only had a minor role. Just a part of the choir that sang the last 4 songs as the Finale. A tenor.

We are going to be aired on ABC if we were not aired live.

This was my first time participating in a concert. This was a good experience. There's another one tomorrow-- still the same. I'll treat this experience as a stepping stone. I know one day, I'll also be able to perform as one of the stars of the show...or maybe the main performer.

So Much Has Happened... I was just too lazy to blog

It's been a while since my last entry... Here are the things that have happened during the past few weeks..

Last week: Tuesday

I was able to befriend the skilled pianist girl, Jaenna. She's 19, a third year student and she's obviously way better than me. I'm quite envious. We had a chance to chat for an hour or two.

Went to east lunch alone at around 12:30. I had my lunch at Dimsum and Dumplings. I only ordered 4pcs of pork siomai at a regular apple green tea.

After having my lunch, I went out and saw Popoy with Jella, Radha, Kelly and Harris.... Or so I think... Some familiar people also passed us during that time. The only people I remember were Kaya and Mel. I had a great time even if it only lasted for a short while.

I had my classes until 3pm. The Dean told me during the morning to meet him at 3pm to check if he's available for the make up class because of the missed class a Saturday before that week. I saw Jaenna waiting outside the Dean Studio 2 while talking to someone. I stood there and waited for my turn. Elaine was having her piano lessons inside. The 3 of us were given 30 minutes of lessons each.

4PM... Math time... A quiz was scheduled for that day. I did not have a calculator with me. Because of the huge numbers and because of division, I used up 1hr and 30min. and still was not able to finish the test. I'm pretty sure I failed that one.

It was the first time I was able to stay in school without going home from 10AM to 5:30PM.

Still too lazy to blog other things that have happened..

My Most Agonizing Moment...

Yesterday, my friend from another sepak takraw class told me that the professor requires students to wear sneakers. So I decided to wear my old pair instead of buying some new shoes.

I went to school before 7am. On my way, I was already in pain. My shoes were killing my feet.

Class started and the instructor made us jog around half of the field. It wasn't tiring thanks to my daily exercises....but.... my feet were starting to hurt even more. It's like my toes were getting scratched inside the shoes.

I managed to survive for an hour. After the break, the instructor made us practice for next week's practical exam. Damn! I practiced alone. I could barely run... or even walk-- but I was forcing myself so that I could get the hang of the basics.

After practicing for a couple of tormenting minutes, the instructor ordered us to sit in front of him for the roll call. After calling the roll, we were allowed to go home.

Now this WAS the toughest and most agonizing part of my already agonizing day! WALKING home with that damned shoes on. It was so hard. I was walking slowly... I though it would reduce the pain. It did not. I managed to walk myself to Piy Margal and got the chance to call a tricycle.

When I got home, I removed my shoes immediately and checked my feet. 2 wounds on my left foot. 1 big with watery liquid coming out. And a big watery inflated skin thingy on my right.

Damn that Pony shoes. I swear not to wear that pair ever again. I seem to want to burn it... but I won't even try doing it.

I just bought a lot of band-aids for my poor feet. I might just skip class for today to take a rest. I also have a headache because of all that head banging on the ball practice.

Time to rest up. Let me just laugh at my self to cool my head...
*tries hard to laugh at self but still succeeded

There... I'll just have to think positively to make good things happen for the entire day.

Music Week

It's music week right now...as well as CFAD week.

Most professors get broken during music week. There are no classes most of the time. People are VERY busy as of the moment. Mostly those people who are going to perform or record something...or doing things I'm pretty much not aware of.

I've gotten tired of walking. Walking from home to school, and then back home after seeing the classroom empty. It's getting tiring and events like this makes me lazy.

Just earlier, I got quite inspired to see a music student play one of my favorite Chopin nocturnes. Not just inspired... but I also got quite envious of her. She was obviously skilled... I ended up playing the piano for almost 3 hours today.

Well... I guess I've improved a little since my last piano lesson. I was taught a few techniques which made my playing sound better...
