My Most Agonizing Moment...
Yesterday, my friend from another sepak takraw class told me that the professor requires students to wear sneakers. So I decided to wear my old pair instead of buying some new shoes.
I went to school before 7am. On my way, I was already in pain. My shoes were killing my feet.
Class started and the instructor made us jog around half of the field. It wasn't tiring thanks to my daily exercises....but.... my feet were starting to hurt even more. It's like my toes were getting scratched inside the shoes.
I managed to survive for an hour. After the break, the instructor made us practice for next week's practical exam. Damn! I practiced alone. I could barely run... or even walk-- but I was forcing myself so that I could get the hang of the basics.
After practicing for a couple of tormenting minutes, the instructor ordered us to sit in front of him for the roll call. After calling the roll, we were allowed to go home.
Now this WAS the toughest and most agonizing part of my already agonizing day! WALKING home with that damned shoes on. It was so hard. I was walking slowly... I though it would reduce the pain. It did not. I managed to walk myself to Piy Margal and got the chance to call a tricycle.
When I got home, I removed my shoes immediately and checked my feet. 2 wounds on my left foot. 1 big with watery liquid coming out. And a big watery inflated skin thingy on my right.
Damn that Pony shoes. I swear not to wear that pair ever again. I seem to want to burn it... but I won't even try doing it.
I just bought a lot of band-aids for my poor feet. I might just skip class for today to take a rest. I also have a headache because of all that head banging on the ball practice.
Time to rest up. Let me just laugh at my self to cool my head...
*tries hard to laugh at self but still succeeded
There... I'll just have to think positively to make good things happen for the entire day.
